Mike Berres grew up in a family of chefs. From grilling ribs in the summer to simmering chili on the stove in winter, the Berres kitchen was always a warm gathering place for family and friends. Mike founded Berres Homes to help YOU create that same warm, welcoming atmosphere in your own home.

Mike began his career in home improvement as a clerk at Lowe's, working part-time while also attending college. Mike worked at Lowe's for thirteen years, including six years as an assistant store manager. Mike and his wife Laura founded Berres Homes in 2019.
